Take my heart
I need it no more.
Take my soul
before it fades ever more.
Take my life, my smiles
and wile the time
better than ever did I.

Take my road
My feet no longer roam.
Take my will
For my heart has no home.
Take my hands, my sight
and hold the frayed
thread of desperate life.

Take my vision, my dreams
play on my ideals.
A marionette of illusioned strings,
on empty stage of blackened wood
and crushed, forsaken dreams.
I like it. <3

What do you guys think? :) Honest opinions everyone! I value your beautiful minds!!!

I think hope left the building, and there was so much despair there, that even the spiders got so depressed by living there, so they didn't even bother spinning their webs in such a place!

I am curious as to why there is so much despair in this person's heart. I really like your rhyme scheme abac. Although the repetition of "dreams" is a little distracting. Really like how you separated the lines as well.
